Birds Eye View

Slowly I scope the horizon gazing at the towns and hillsides that are dotted with buildings and people strolling around the zigzagging streets.  I get a bird's eye view of the chalky white caps dancing in and out of the ultramarine ocean.  The sun's radiant ravishing rays penetrate through the vibrant rainbow like parachute canopy and shimmer in my eyes.

Up in the teal blue sky it is nearly complete silence. The tranquil wind is wrapping around me in a big bear hug and is so quiet you could almost hear a pin drop.   I can hear myself shrieking with excitement as the the adrenaline is being pumped through my veins.

I feel the parachute lurch left and right with the wind like an all black dodging and scoring the winning try. I'm clenching the ashen white ropes in front of me for my dear life.  The wind is a polar cold and is making my teeth lightly chatter together.

The fresh minty air gives me a memory of colorful lollies  and makes my mouth dry like a dessert.  My legs dangle down  from the parachute like a stalactite hanging from the roof of a cave.

I cant help but wonder when i`m going to come down and if I will safely land on the boat or in the glacial, frosty, turquoise sea.

The Majestic Castle

The Majestic Castle

The majestic castle is resting on its perch like a flag marking its territory watching over the vast landscape. The circling ravens act like soldiers guarding the castles ancient turrets that reach up into the ultramarine sky. The chalky white clouds glide lazily through the tranquil wind while the sun gradually dissapears behind the historic castle.

The weak wind passes through the castles decayed walls like a whaling ghost howling in my ear. The ravens screech like they want to bring back the king who once conquered this land. The azure water peacefully flows through the river silently.

I wonder what happened all those years ago in this kingdom and why was this castle abandoned to fall to pieces like a broken puzzle? The spine chilling wind is sending a shiver right through my body making my teeth lightly chatter together.

I can taste the presence of the people who once lived here in this crusted crumbling castle. The taste of the dusty air makes my mouth dry while the breeze skims over the river picking up little droplets of fresh water which sprays into my mouth.

The scent of rotten, decayed and moldy walls drifts up to my my nose. I can smell the the roast dinners that were once cooked in this castles kitchens. I wonder how much more centuries this proud castle will stand here for.

The Huge Wave
The ultra marine wave is caving in on me like an ancient scroll. The vociferous, thunderous wave is crashing down making my ears ring. I can see the lip of the wave in front of me like shattered glass and the white caps dancing on the horizon.

The suns bright rays reflect off the azure water which shimmers in my eyes. The barrel of the wave comes in on me like an avalanche and it wraps around me in a big bear hug. The salty sea air sprays my past my face giving me the taste of the disgusting salty sea.

I get a shiver up my spine as the frigid water crashes down from the barrel and drenches my body. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I plough through the pipe fast like a cheetah. I fire out of the rolled up scroll. slowly I sink back into the water watching the next wave rise majestically out of the teal ocean and it beckons me towards it.

The snowy mountain descriptive writing

Mountain hiking
The milky white clouds floating in the howling wind match the chalky white color of the snow, scattered all over the colossal mountain. The forceful wind is blowing a gale like a hurricane providing us with an intrepid journey ahead.

The jagged rocks are like sharp knifes piercing my feet through my thick leather boots. I am staggering up the vast mountain through the overruling wind that is gently brushing past my face.

The crystallized snow is shimmering in the suns fluorescent rays. I peer behind me waiting patiently for my mates. I trudge up the bleached landscape staring at my cloud like breath as I take in lots of air with exhaustion. The frigid conditions are as cold as the icy sea of the Antarctic.

My back is weighing me down and it feels like I'm carrying a ton of weight draining my body of energy. The summit is now within reach and its majestic icy peak beckons me forward.

The roller coaster is twisting around like a reef of seaweed. Vibrant colours pollute the lightning fast rides that are darting and rushing around. The luminous, coloured  ferris wheel starts to spin like a hypno-ring controlling me. Earsplitting carnival music travels throughout the fair as the mouth watering scent of fluffy, pink cotton candy drifts towards me. The stars begin to swarm the freezing cold night sky. I feel clostaphobic as the fair is packed with people waiting and waiting to go on the spine chilling rides.

A Moment in Time (descriptive writing)

Supple leather boots mould onto my feet as I anticipate a bullet whizzing past my ears. Soft marshmallow-like clouds pollute the sky with their dull, grey colour. The sun’s bright rays disappear as it lays down to rest and the stars begin to swarm the sparkling night sky. Everything is still, moving in slow motion. My heavy back pack is weighing me down like a black-hole forcing me in. I peer along the plain, boring desert looking at the muddy land and the dead skeleton like trees swaying in the soft silent breeze. I think of my friends who have fallen like a set of waves that have laid down to rest.
